This month’s theme is *love*. I think that wedding rings represent love perfectly and it works out well for me because I just adore taking the detail shots and wedding and engagement rings are some of very favorites!! Here are just a few of my faves from 2012 and this year. Be sure to scroll through all of them and at the bottom you’ll find a link to view my friend Michele’s take on the love theme as well, and from her blog you can continue on through the blog circle. I hope you enjoyed viewing my post! Now go check out Michele’s here.
I knew exactly how I wanted to spend the last day of 2012, with my babies and my husband and capturing every last teeny tiny detail of my kids’ lives at these ages. So I did what any normal sane person will do, I followed them around like a crazy paparazzi Momma. 😉 Joking aside, I was so giddy all day yesterday and still am when I look back on our day together. The last day of a year. A day that I will look back on and cherish when they are grown and living their own lives. A day that I will still be able to *live* any time I look at these images. We didn’t do anything special or out of the ordinary. And I love that. Just my kids being kids and doing what they love. I am hoping to be able to do this next year as well and compare. *And for those that follow my work, the processing here is different than my norm. I wanted to play in Photoshop and what better to use than my own personal photos? 🙂 I hope you enjoy them!!
Theodore certainly had some fun this week! From horseback riding to tp’ing the Christmas tree to shaving to riding in a ‘shoe shoe’ train to going to school to snowball fights with Captain America to sledding in a box of packing peanuts and even getting stuck in the candy jar, it was a blast all around! I hope your elf is having just as much fun as ours is!
Meet Theodore. He is our family’s newest edition. My girls LOVE him. And Liam just wants to eat him (no worries, we keep him up where the baby can’t actually get his sticky fingers on him). 😉 I wanted to share with you Theodore’s first 13 days with us. I’ll blog more ideas after we get some more finished up as well. Happy elfing!!
