It’s fun photographing friends. Even more fun when you add in cake. 😉 This fabulous Anniversary Cake is from Camelot Cakes in New Philadelphia Ohio. Erica and I have been friends since 7th grade. Ohhhhhhh the stories we could tell. We’ll save those for another time. 🙂 For now we’ll stick to their session. Hard to believe it’s been a year already since these 2 crazies were married!!! I had the fun of being IN the wedding too!! And of course, since we included Grady in their engagement session on the other side of Norma Johnson Center, you know he had to make an appearance here too. After all he is their fur baby. 😉 Dover, New Philadelphia Anniversary Photographer | Happy 1 year | © Brandi Williamson Photography
I love getting out to Roscoe Village on occasion. It’s a great change from my usual stomping grounds locally. 🙂 And how fun is this couple and their puppy?!
Ben & Jacki are seriously SUCH a sweet and adorable couple! Our first meeting was a little rushed and had other people present as well which made it a little difficult in really getting to know them personally. So Jacki in her cuteness decided to relay their personalities as best she could via email. LOVED it! I’ll share a little of what she said to give you an idea of ‘them’…
“To describe our personalities: We are pretty laid back (except when it comes to planning our wedding, I have become very particular lol). We love going on hikes, playing with our new puppy, or just hanging out with friends and family. Typical stuff really. We both work a lot, so when we have time off, we really just want to focus on relaxing and being together and enjoying good food and drinks! Ben is a lot more adventurous than I am, mostly I just don’t want him to get hurt, but to him, the possibility of getting hurt doesn’t really occur very often. We met through a mutual friend, and since our first date have pretty much been tied at the hip together. We’ve been together for 1 year and 8 months and are looking forward to at least 50 more years together 🙂 Ben is truly the most fun and amazing man I’ve ever met. He doesn’t take things too seriously, but he is the most loyal person ever. He cares so much about the people in his life and would do anything for them. I’ve never truly been able to be myself 100% of the time with anyone except some of my girlfriends, but with him, I have this confidence where I can say whatever I want and be as crazy as I want and it doesn’t even phase him, he just joins in lol. Basically, we think we bring out the best in each other and are still in a little shock that the other person is just as crazy in love with them as the other is. ”
Adorable, right? The morning of their photos it was a tad gloomy and wet outside but we made the most of it and had a blast! Since their wedding will be taking place at Country Cottage & Garden and will have a lot of greenery in it, they knew they wanted something a little different and with a touch of urban style thrown in, to change things up a bit. I love what we ended up with!
I can’t wait for your wedding! I know we will have so much fun. 😀
Ahhhh Katie & Scott’s engagement session. Insert big puffy heart! They knew before even meeting with me that they would like it shot on their family’s land. I am so happy they did! Imagine lots of hills, trees, barbed wire fencing, gravel roads. It makes my heart happy just thinking about it. We were a little nervous the day of their shoot with the crazy weather we had been having and the dark clouds looming over our heads but it all worked out beautifully. I give you… Katie & Scott. I can’t wait for their 2013 wedding!
