I love 1st bday shoots! I love smash cakes! Combine them and VOILA! Instant fun! Zoey seemed to agree with me. Her mom+dad brought their own cake with them with the pinks & purples and there was even a sweet little butterfly on top. Before the cake portion of the shoot, Zoey enjoyed the camera and showing off how much of a ‘biiiiggggg girl’ she is now.
She also did quite a number on her cake. It took her a few minutes to get into it but once she did she took over. Loved it!!!
Happy birthday Zoey! And do you ever wonder what happens after a smash cake? That is, the times where the littles don’t end up in the bathtub… 😉
Mason’s Momma was sick the day of his session so it was a little different seeing his Daddy bring him in. Even though I missed out on all of the chatting Natalie and I usually do, I will admit that Mason’s shoot was finished up much faster than normal. 😉 Hmmm… LOL. We almost missed this time altogether as his 9 month milestone slipped by too quickly before we realized. I can’t believe I’ll be seeing him for his 1 year so soon now!!!And I believe this is Mason saying, “Okay okay lady! Enough with the pictures already!” 😉
Oh my good gracious, can you please stop growing? Also, your cuteness is just too much to handle! Ben really had fun sticking his tongue out at his Momma and me and we also wrangled some adorable smiles out of him. I just adore the shot of him with his bedtime jammies and books looking up at me. Melt my heart!
I love a good smash cake. Scarlett really showed her’s who’s boss. I’ve enjoyed watching her grow up this year just like I was able to photograph her brother’s 1st year too. I’m kind of sad she’s already a year (or will be on the 15th – tax baby! ;)), because that means I won’t see her as often. But I know at least Mom + Dad will bring them both around once a year or so… and mayyyybeee add a 3rd sibling to the mix? 😉 I mean, really, they make gorgeous babies. hehe! Back to Scarlett’s smash cake, she meant business when it came to the smashing so it was tough getting a grin, but I promise she was thrilled to get to that cake!!! 🙂 Happy *almost* 1st birthday little girl!!!Just a little FYI – the cake was made by Camelot Cakes. Stop by and tell her I sent you! 🙂 YUM!
