OH. MY. GOODNESS! I cannot believe I am even writing this post. Ben is one of my baby planners and I am in shock at how quickly this year is passing by… Half way through already?! Someone needs to tell these babies to SLOW DOWN!
On to Ben, as per his usual, he was a perfect little subject to photograph. I can only hope (and cross my fingers and send a few prayers up as well!) that his 9 month and especially 1 year photos go just as smoothly… 😉
Recently I had the joy of photographing a fellow photographer and friend’s adorable-y sweet newborn baby boy. He was such a dream baby to photograph. Julie & Joe followed my suggestions to a ‘T’ and the result of that was a perfectly sleepy, posey, happy baby. That’s not to say he didn’t give us a little attitude… He wouldn’t be a true photographer’s kid without it. 😉 We had a lot of fun talking shop and baby stuff too. I truly enjoyed it and now am even more so looking forward to getting to photograph yet another tog baby in February!!!
Meet Ryder, 4 days new…And I can’t leave out the fact that Joe & Julie brought me an adorable gift which I love love LOVEEEEEE by the way!! Thank you again Julie. If you’d like to check out Julie’s work, you can do so here.
I also wanted to add in real quick that I had the opportunity to use my dear friend, Emily Lucarz’s new Dream Action Set on these photos and I. AM. IN. LOVE. !!! They can be subtle, sweet and clean or dramatic and poppy. Be sure to stop over and see some more examples for yourself here!! Tell her I sent you. 🙂
It’s time again for another monthly blog circle post!! This month’s theme was ‘joy’ and when it snowed a few weeks ago I was so excited because I knew exactly what I was going to be posting this time. What greater joy is there than being a child playing in the snow? Meet my daughter, Izzy Grace. She loves her snow!
After viewing my blog be sure to stop by the other girl’s participating in our blog circle. You can see Eileen with M.E. Photography’s post here.
Izabella came all the way from Kentucky to see me… okay, so she was coming here anyway but it sounds better the other way. 😉 Her Momma is actually the daughter of a past co-worker of my own Mom. Small town life can be fun sometimes when I get to meet the littles of all of the people I’ve known!! Izzy came in deciding she was going to put up a fight about sleeping, and fight she did. There really wasn’t any crying, just wide awake eyes. I snapped away while she was awake and then she finally dozed off. It was all worth it. She is adorable!!! ❤
