So apparently I used to work with the Dad years ago at a telemarketing location… Yes, let’s ignore the fact that I used to work in ‘one of those’ places. 😉 This family lives in a great place… on a pumpkin farm!!! Oh my gosh so much fun!!! And their little girl, such a sweetheart. The photos at the end are actually taken in front of her own little play house that her Daddy built her complete with electric. Neat!!!
Let me first start this post by saying that it was COLD, I mean, COLD this day. And it was sprinkling on us for about 50% of the shoot. Such troopers they were!!! And the little guy sooooo did not want to stay still for even a second. So, I did the only thing I could, I chased him around and around and around. 🙂 I think it all worked out in the end though…
Bare with me as I try to play some major catch up on my blog. I have been swamped with Christmas shoots and family time and am just now getting to have a little ‘extra’ play-time in my schedule. So I am starting back in October… 🙂
Seriously, how adorable is this family?! This was the first I’ve met them and as soon as I got out of my vehicle I knew they were going to be fun!! The 2 older boys are such great helpers and insisted on toting around 1/2 my props/blankets as we walked from spot to spot to shoot at. And the little one? He’s just plain sweet! Loved him! And rumor has it that I may get to see this family again sometime 2013 with their new baby GIRL!And I love when Mom & Dad are willing to jump in for a few shots of just them!! After all, this is where it all began!!! 😉
I am so excited to be a part of a photography blog circle with a group of friends. So fun!!!! I couldn’t wait to get started. 🙂 This month’s theme is red. At first thought I had something beautiful pictured in my head that I wanted to do involving snow and one of my children in bright red snow boots and/or a red snow coat…but there has been no snow yet… So I improvised and decided to photograph my parent’s Santa collection. December… Red… Santa… it totally works. My Mom actually counted this year, and I believe it was 78 total, not including ones on the Christmas tree. I can’t say I photographed every one of them…but I think I came pretty close! Anyway, scroll through to check out some cute and funny Santa’s and when you’re done be sure to check out my friend, Joie/Asher Layne’s red theme as well here. Eeeee I am even more excited for next month’s theme now!!
Theodore certainly had some fun this week! From horseback riding to tp’ing the Christmas tree to shaving to riding in a ‘shoe shoe’ train to going to school to snowball fights with Captain America to sledding in a box of packing peanuts and even getting stuck in the candy jar, it was a blast all around! I hope your elf is having just as much fun as ours is!
Ava is one of the babies I have been lucky enough to photograph since she was only a few days old. I love watching my littlest clients grow up, but at the same time it’s so bittersweet. I’ll miss getting to see her every few months but look forward to seeing her with her family each year. 🙂 Back to this session, eek I can’t get over how cute she is! We had fun with balloons and then Christmas ornaments and even a few of her own toys and then we brought on her smash cake. The cake was done by Camelot Cakes (fabulous job once again Kat and crew!). Ava’s Mom requested the pink Minnie Mouse, and then also brought in that adorable high chair that she had refinished herself. Great job Mom! Enjoy the photos!!!
Meet Theodore. He is our family’s newest edition. My girls LOVE him. And Liam just wants to eat him (no worries, we keep him up where the baby can’t actually get his sticky fingers on him). 😉 I wanted to share with you Theodore’s first 13 days with us. I’ll blog more ideas after we get some more finished up as well. Happy elfing!!
