Ohhhhhh sweet sweet girl. Miss Molly is just like any almost 3 year old, full of energy, giggles and won’t sit still for a moment! So Mom and I had to pull out all our fancy tricks to get her to stay put for even a second with a smile on her face. 🙂 I think it worked… Don’t you?
This year was our first official Food for Files Fall Mini and I enjoyed it so much it will for sure be a repeat event for next year!!
I had of course been watching the weather like a hawk, and thank you to Ohio’s uncanny nature for changing up the forecast at the very last possible minute, we lucked out not just one, but two days with gorgeous and perfect Fall weather. We had a lot of laughs, a few tears, lots of donated goods (scroll wayyyyyyyy down to see the final product of your kindness!!) and oodles of fun and ended up with so many great photographs that I couldn’t possibly narrow this post down to just 1 photo per family. So, I’ll advise you to get a nice cup of coffee ready, snuggle back in your seat and be prepared to smile at all of these gorgeous families that are about to come across your monitor.
The goal of this was to ultimately be able to donate a nice sized portion of non-perishables to the local food bank and you all came through awesome-ly! All in all there is a total of well over 125 cans, baby food jars, boxes & over-all goodness being donated today. I will be heading into town shortly to drop these yummies off at the First United Methodist Church on W.High St. in New Philadelphia. From there they will end up being used at the Dover/Phila Food Bank.
Ben is one of my baby plan members and thank goodness too! How lucky am I to be able to watch this sweet boy grow throughout his first year? This being his 3 month shoot, we had plans to get lots of wide awake shots and little grins & giggles here and there and maybe even a few shots of him on his belly… Well, Ben had his own agenda. He wanted to sleep. And eat. So, eat and sleep he did. While we did manage some adorable awake shots, I do believe my favorites are after he fell asleep. What do you think?
Ohhhhhhh the baby pouts! Ben has some heart-wrenching ones for sure… ❤
And I’ll add in some more baby sweetness for good measure… 🙂

Love this family. Love this sweet little girl. Love this location. Loved this day. Seriously, perfection!
I first met little Arie way back in 2010 when she was still just a baby. Love repeat clients and getting to see these little ones grow up! She was adorable then and I think has even gotten cuter with each year. 🙂 And this location, well, I am a tad bit sad it’s their neighborhood land and I can’t just use it whenever I want! haha! I love it that much.
Arie was super mega shy when I first arrived, but with a little being silly from and a little ice cream bribing from her Momma & Daddy, she soon warmed up to the idea of pictures and then wanted to help me with everything! She helped me carry my blankets around, she helped to choose the spots we took photos at, she placed the little chair (that is specifically only reserved for special big girls turning 3 … 😉 … of course) exactly where she wanted to sit and she even chose the last little spot by the old water pump where the kitty liked to lounge…. hence the couple of photos towards the end with a plump little cat joined her. 🙂
There is nothing more precious than when your baby smiles at you or better yet when you elicit those sweet sounding giggles. I’m just busy over here entering into busy season, yet trying my hardest to remember each day to cherish the little moments in life. One day soon they will be the big moments I will miss the most.
Ben & Jacki are seriously SUCH a sweet and adorable couple! Our first meeting was a little rushed and had other people present as well which made it a little difficult in really getting to know them personally. So Jacki in her cuteness decided to relay their personalities as best she could via email. LOVED it! I’ll share a little of what she said to give you an idea of ‘them’…
“To describe our personalities: We are pretty laid back (except when it comes to planning our wedding, I have become very particular lol). We love going on hikes, playing with our new puppy, or just hanging out with friends and family. Typical stuff really. We both work a lot, so when we have time off, we really just want to focus on relaxing and being together and enjoying good food and drinks! Ben is a lot more adventurous than I am, mostly I just don’t want him to get hurt, but to him, the possibility of getting hurt doesn’t really occur very often. We met through a mutual friend, and since our first date have pretty much been tied at the hip together. We’ve been together for 1 year and 8 months and are looking forward to at least 50 more years together 🙂 Ben is truly the most fun and amazing man I’ve ever met. He doesn’t take things too seriously, but he is the most loyal person ever. He cares so much about the people in his life and would do anything for them. I’ve never truly been able to be myself 100% of the time with anyone except some of my girlfriends, but with him, I have this confidence where I can say whatever I want and be as crazy as I want and it doesn’t even phase him, he just joins in lol. Basically, we think we bring out the best in each other and are still in a little shock that the other person is just as crazy in love with them as the other is. ”
Adorable, right? The morning of their photos it was a tad gloomy and wet outside but we made the most of it and had a blast! Since their wedding will be taking place at Country Cottage & Garden and will have a lot of greenery in it, they knew they wanted something a little different and with a touch of urban style thrown in, to change things up a bit. I love what we ended up with!
I can’t wait for your wedding! I know we will have so much fun. 😀
